A temporary role for up to 12 months as a Campaigns Co-ordinator has become available, working with the Corporate Communications team to drive maximum participation and engagement in the Council's arts and leisure activities.
The team communicates to residents and businesses about a variety of information about council services, support and activities for people and communities through a range of channels, helping to make North Lanarkshire a great place to live, learn, work, invest and visit.
The Campaigns Coordinator contributes to the development and delivery of creative campaigns and communications which includes promoting, publicising and marketing a range of activities, venues, shows and events for the arts, culture, events, parks, leisure and sport services, as well as other projects for Strategic Communications and Engagement.
Responsible to the Campaigns Team Leader (Arts and Leisure), you should have an HNC/SVQ3 or equivalent qualification with relevant experience of working in a communications environment delivering campaigns, marketing, PR or digital functions.
With excellent verbal, written and IT skills, you should have a good understanding of creating and scheduling content for social media channels and operating CMS for websites along with experience of delivering effective marketing and/or PR campaigns, including paid-for advertising.
You will be joining a vibrant team that work a hybrid model of office/site based at the Civic Centre, Motherwell and homeworking.
