Campaign Manager Seed & Seed Treatment - Maternity Cover
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Deliver on annual business objectives, market share and profitability targets through the effective development and implementation of portfolio strategy and seasonal campaign plans
• Manage the OSR and Maize portfolios leading the Go to Market campaigns to develop the strategy and seek collaborative input from Market Development, Sales & Field Solutions
• Develop marketing communications plans in conjunction with the Marketing Communications team through the development of seasonal Campaign Briefs
• Ensure campaigns are delivered in line with business and portfolio objectives
• Be instrumental in driving advocacy for the crop internally and externally to enhance sales
• Be innovative to explore new solutions to overcoming agronomic challenges that farmers face within the crop, working with a team of cross functional experts to lead new initiatives such as Crop Systems
• High levels of internal stakeholder engagement needed to transform and establish seed as a core pillar of the organisation
• Support customer facing interactions to deliver on our objectives in seed and seed treatments • Develop a robust market analysis including market trends, competitor activities and customer insights to accurately forecast product requirements
• Lead the UK Hybrid Wheat Project Team to develop the strategy and launch plan for Hybrid Wheat Systems
• Sales & operational planning – lead the monthly S&OP process for Seed and seed treatments to accurately forecast product requirements and phasing
• Support Market Development with creation of the marketing trials program, to ensure consistency with the Field Solutions trials and near to market products are incorporated at the appropriate time
• Regulatory Science collaboration and alignment - seek regulatory expertise and information to support the development of portfolio strategy
• Responsible for providing relevant portfolio information to internal stakeholders
• Events - support the Communications Specialist with organisation and communications messaging for industry events
• Manage market funding programs for the relevant portfolios in line with Global policy and regional guidance
Who you are:
• Relevant experience within the agricultural industry
• BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection (preferable, but not essential if agriculture/farm experience is gained)
• Relevant University Degree
• Seed technical knowledge and understanding of the seed market
• Sales and marketing experience or relevant qualifications
• Visionary & innovative and able to work on own initiative
• Results oriented individual with a strategic mindset
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex challenges
Please note this is a 14 month Maternity Cover contract.
