Job summary hrs per weekThis is anexciting new opportunity for a full time band 3 support worker to join an expandingteam working within CAMHS Early Help Pathway working with Children, Youngpeople & families.
You will be joining an already established teamwithin CAMHS service supporting provision of early intervention servicesYou wouldbe part of a team that is delivering earlyintervention services to Children & Young People (CYP) in their community &schools.
The core function of the early help team is to work with CYP to buildresilience, undertake prevention work, targeted intervention work &supporting the community network when CYP do have mental health issues.
Therewill opportunity to deliver training alongside other colleaguesThe role is designed to support the service with the current provision withinCAMHS early help to offer working with Families & young people providing targeted,short term interventions (group/individual) up to 6-8 sessions within theI-THRIVE model &guided self-help with the focus on early intervention.
You will work as part of the CAMHS EarlyHelp Pathway providing guided self-help to children & young people who havecompleted their assessment but awaiting their primary intervention, you will be supported by a registered member of staff.
This rolewill be variedplease note that this role may not be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route, please refer to the Direct Gov website for more information with regards to eligibility Main duties of the job You will be responsible for supporting the emotional, psychological & social wellbeing of children & young people with a drive for early intervention, enabling cultural change in the way first contact services can support children & young people with mental health issues.You will work as part of the CAMHS Early Help Pathway to support the delivery of targeted interventions, groups, guided self-help & possible parent interventions implemented effectively & evaluated using routine outcome measures (ROM's).To support CYP to access an online, targeted intervention & to facilitate the intervention online for the CYP to access CBT.To plan & deliver various groups on a rolling programme.You will co-facilitate training to schools in collaboration with team members, work in schools with groups of young people promoting resilience & wellbeing to prevent mental health issues arising.To liaise effectively with the other CAMHS pathways across the city.To maintain confidentiality in respect of the young people at all times.Communicate clearly with children & young people, their families and all other health professional groups.Promote person centred approachTo achieve 15 clinical contacts a weekSee attached job description for full detailsAll Livewell staff are expected to be able & willing to work across a 7-day servicePlease note that we may close the job advert early should we receive a high number of applications.
