We've been assigned by one of the best performing NHS Trusts in the UK to help them recruit a Consultant in CAMHS on a Substantive Term basis.

Our client's CAMHS services are currently looking for a Consultant to join their team that provides services to a population of approximately 90,000 children and young adults.
This is currently delivered by two generic Tier 3 teams along with Community Advisors and teams for Urgent Care, Eating Disorders, Intensive Home Treatment, DBT, plus an LD CAMHS team at this trust.
This department currently has six Consultant Psychiatrists and two Specialty Doctors who function as a strong, supportive group, and this department is located near paediatrics, which has resulted in highly positive and collaborative services between the two.

The department expects the successful appointee to fulfill various responsibilities such as:

Participating in a 1 in 7 on-call rotaPlaying an active part in the training and supervision of medical staff in junior and non-training grades and the development of support staffSupporting and leading the delivery of education for trainee medical staff and medical studentsParticipation in clinical governance and audit within the departmentParticipation in MDT meetingsProviding a diagnostic and therapeutic service for children and adolescents, together with their families or other carers
The appointee will be joining a trust located in a serene market town surrounded by attractive countryside, contemporary leisure facilities, and extensive retail outlets with excellent road and railway links to big cities such as Birmingham, Manchester & Sheffield, with very close distance to various international airports.
