Highlands is situated in a character building, within our extensive main grounds, in the beautiful East Sussex countryside.
We accept patients with a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
About the Role: As an Art Therapist, you will: Provide therapeutic support to young people aged 5-11, using art as a medium to help them express themselves and process emotions.
Work as part of a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team (MDT), contributing to case discussions and holistic care planning.
Engage in service development initiatives, helping to expand and enhance the care we offer to children and their families.
Deliver individual and potentially group therapy sessions in a safe, welcoming environment.
About You: We are seeking someone who is: Qualified and HCPC registered as an Art Therapist.
Experienced in working with children, ideally within a mental health or educational setting.
Skilled at using creative techniques to engage and support young people.
Committed to working as part of a team and contributing to a positive, collaborative environment.
Passionate about improving the mental health and wellbeing of young people.
