Cad Technician (Autodesk Inventor)

Job Title: CAD TechnicianLocation: Sheffield with hybrid working Contract basis for 3 months + Rate: £20-24 per hour Start ASAP We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join this innovative engineering solutions business, based in Sheffield.
You'll be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing detailed 3D CAD drawings using Autodesk Inventor across mechanical and electrical engineering.This role involves collaboration with engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities: Drafting and Design:Create and revise detailed 3D CAD drawings based on project specifications.Develop and prepare engineering schematics.
Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to gather project requirements.Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure designs meet project needs.
Quality Control:Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and project requirements.Perform quality checks on all drafted documents before submission.
We're open minded as to sector background but would suggest general engineering with detailed Autodesk Inventor experience.
Any knowledge of Autodesk Inventor Vault is a big bonus.
Role is Sheffield based and you'll likely be in the office on a flexible 2-3 days each week on a hybrid basis.
Due to the location on a business park by the Sheffield Parkway, having your own transport would be useful.
