About The CAD Draughtsman Job Produce detailed mechanical drawings, piping isometrics, equipment layouts, and P&IDs across multiple industries. Utilize CAD tools, including the Autodesk platform i.e. Revit, to create accurate 2D and 3D models (other CAD platforms will be considered). Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet industry standards and project deadlines. Ensure all designs comply with industry best practices. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and software. Contribute to diverse projects in sectors such as oil and gas, energy, food and drink, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and more. What We're Looking For We're seeking candidates with a qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field, such as an ONC/HNC/Degree Level or equivalent, along with at least two to three years of experience in mechanical design and/or CAD work.
Proficiency in leading CAD platforms such as Autodesk is essential. A strong understanding of engineering design principles and industry standards, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills, is also required. You'll need to have a full UK driving license and be available for occasional office days.
