Job Specification: C# Developer (Fixed-Term Contract) Location: Belfast Contract Duration: 12 Months (High Likelihood of Permanent Role) Salary: Up to £50,000 Overview: We are seeking a talented C# Developer to join our clients team in Belfast on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a high probability of transitioning into a permanent position.
The successful candidate will join a team working on a highly visible platform within the organisation that is critical to day to day operations.
You will be collaborating with both colleagues and stakeholders.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to add to your CV and with a quick turnaround on both interview and start date, it is ideal for someone looking to secure something new before Christmas Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain C# applications, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and meet the needs of the business.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, testers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and maintaining code quality.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in C# and related technologies, applying them where appropriate to improve the codebase.
Essential Skills: Solid hands-on experience with C# and .NET framework.
Proficiency in object-oriented programming and software design principles.
Experience with SQL databases for data management and querying.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
Desirable Skills: Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript or Angular/React.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) would be advantageous but not essential.
Contract Details: Contract Length: 12 months, with a high likelihood of transitioning to a permanent position.
Salary: Up to £50,000, based on experience.
Location: Belfast, with in-office attendance twice a week.
