As they continue to expand their global presence, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Buying Director to join the team and drive their purchasing strategy to new heights.

Job Description: As the Buying Director, you will play a critical role in curating and managing the exclusive product assortment.
You will lead a team of talented buyers, collaborate closely with design and merchandising teams, and establish strong relationships with elite suppliers to ensure their collections reflect the brand's prestige and meet the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic buying plan that aligns with the brand's luxury positioning and business goals.
Lead, mentor, and inspire the buying team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and drive purchasing decisions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with premier suppliers, negotiating advantageous terms and ensuring superior quality and sustainability.
Collaborate with design, merchandising, and marketing teams to curate refined and cohesive collections that resonate with our discerning clientele.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
Oversee budget management, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and achieving financial targets.
Stay ahead of industry developments and emerging trends, continuously seeking innovative ways to enhance the product offering.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
Experience in a senior buying role within the premium or luxury fashion industry.
Proven track record of successful product assortment planning and high-level supplier negotiation.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
Passion for luxury fashion, with a keen eye for trends and an understanding of the high-end market.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including buying and inventory management systems.
