To support our ongoing growth, we're looking for an experienced and dedicated Buyer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities: Purchasing & Procurement: Source, negotiate, and purchase high-quality components and materials in line with production requirements.
BoM (Bill of Materials) Management: Collaborate closely with the engineering and production teams to understand Bill of Materials requirements, ensuring all materials are in place to meet production timelines.
Order Management: Issue Purchase Orders (POs), monitor order status, and expedite orders as needed to maintain a smooth production flow.
Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best pricing, quality, and lead times.
Cost Management: Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
Inventory Coordination: Work with inventory and warehousing teams to monitor stock levels, avoiding shortages or excess inventory.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Actively collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support project goals and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in a purchasing or buying role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Solid understanding of BoM requirements and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain supplier relationships.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
