- The daily ordering of goods and services for the site.
- Ensuring procurement activities are managed in a professional and cost-effective manner, whilst supporting consistency in practices globally: - Increasing profitability and drive the improvement of the overall sourced goods and services under their scope according to strategies defined at the group level, - Managing the supplier base to obtain the necessary improvements to achieve the above and protect the plant against potential unfavourable market trends.
- Ensuring logistics supply chain is robust, reliable and cost effective for both domestic and international tradeCandidate Specification- 5 to 10 years' experience in Purchasing (Technical and Purchasing Expertise (Cost Analysis, Purchasing Strategy, Negotiation Skills.)
- Supplier Management expertise - Experience in an industrial environment - Working experience in cross-functional teams - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite - Change management experience (Desirable) - Experience working with MRP systems in sourcing direct and indirect material in an international environment (Desirable) - University Degree in Engineering or Business (Desirable) - Purchasing certification (Desirable) This is great opportunity to join a global player in providing mission-critical engineered solutions across the globe.
