Buyer Our client is a specialist contractor for fully supported, hard metal roofing and cladding for commercial and residential properties in the UK and overseas.
They also have a flat roofing division, offering all of the UK's largest manufacturers' systems.
They are looking to add a Buyer to their growing and experienced team.
The Buyer will be responsible for the procurement of goods and services according to their needs and demands for their Roofing and cladding requirements.
Buyer What's in it for you?
Salary Up to £45,000.
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 5:00 (Office based).
20 days holidays + bank holidays.
Christmas & New year shutdown (Don't need to save days for this period).

Parking on site.
Buyer Responsibilities Procurement and scheduling of products, materials, plant, and equipment.
Ensuring purchases offer best value.
Monitoring and reporting of price increases, updating internal spread sheets.
Tracking orders and proactively addressing any failed or late deliveries.
Arranging the return of non-conforming products.
Maintaining and developing the supply chain.
Identification of new products.
Processing of purchase ledger records.
Buyer Requirements Minimum 2 years Purchasing experience in roofing, cladding, or construction industry.
Experience and/or education in procurement and inventory management.
Working knowledge of computer programs for word processing, email, and spreadsheets.
Able to read and interpret project drawings and specifications (preferred).
