Job Title: Buyer / Supply Chain Coordinator
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 + bonus
W Talent is delighted to be partnering with a highly successful manufacturing business in Nottingham who provide crucial components to some of the world's largest brands.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team to support and manage existing supplier relationships, purchase key components, perform necessary negotiations, work closely with the Warehousing and Production teams regarding Planning and ensure smooth and efficient procurement and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities: Generate and process Purchase Orders for various industry components Negotiate pricing, resolve supplier issues related to OTIF performance, and assist with invoice and pricing variance queries Work with suppliers to manage lead times and minimum order quantities (MOQs), optimising inventory levels and ensuring a smooth logistics process Communicate with internal stakeholders to align order status with inventory needs and capacity Monitor open orders and proactively resolve supplier delays, discrepancies, or shortages Contribute to process improvements to enhance procurement and planning efficiencies Key Requirements: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Buying or Purchasing Coordinator-level position with proven exposure to working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods is essential Experience of working with Far East suppliers is essential Strong ERP Systems ability including Excel is essential Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with internal teams and suppliers Meticulous attention to detail regarding data inputting This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with all areas of supply chain and production and requires a driven, flexible person to take on the challenge.
