Buyer | East Kilbride | Full Time | Office based | 9am-5:30pm Monday – Thursday and an early finish on Friday at 4:15pm | £27,000 MBM Print SCS Ltd are one of the leading providers of print for manufacturing in Europe, supporting some of the world's biggest names.
They are looking for a Buyer to join the customer services team; where you will report to the Customer Services and Purchasing Manager.
You should have manufacturing knowledge and experience in a procurement role, and experience utilising an ERP System is preferred.

A good knowledge and understanding of supply chain and procurement processes Experience utilising an ERP System Experience working within a Manufacturing Environment Estimating experience preferred but not essential Be capable of communicating with suppliers and colleagues alike Be motivated and well organised Have the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail Possess good communication and organisational skills Print Background preferred but not essential What will your role look like?
To undertake the procurement of paper, packaging, outwork and services to support internal and external customers Reviewing and analysing suppliers, supply and price options, maximising value for money Negotiating the best deal for pricing on ad hoc purchases Identify cost savings Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal teams and external suppliers Ensure the accuracy of all data input Support Procurement Manager in supplier evaluation, supplier negotiations and development of procurement function Assist Customer Services Team to produce estimates What can you expect in return?
