Buyer

We are working with our client who are an established CNC Manufacturing business in the search for a materials buyer on a permanent basis.
It will be your primary responsibility to work within the procurement department purchasing materials and utilising the MRP system.This role is a minimum of 12 months FTCResponsibilities Buy raw materials in line with production demandsMaintain purchase order status and chase lead timesMaintain current stock levelsNegotiate with suppliersMarket research new suppliesWork to KPI'sAssist with NCR'sDeal with invoices and queriesRequirementsExperienced buyer working with materials from manufacturing/engineering backgroundAble to negotiate with suppliersCompetent on the phone and with ITExperience with MRP/ERP systemsBenefits:Full time permanent role in a great, team based environmentExcellent progression with professional qualifications on offerHoliday SchemeCompetitive Pension
