Buyer

We are working with our client who are an established CNC Manufacturing business in the search for a materials buyer on a permanent basis.
It will be your primary responsibility to work within the procurement department purchasing materials and utilising the MRP system.
This role is a minimum of 12 months FTC Responsibilities Buy raw materials in line with production demands Maintain purchase order status and chase lead times Maintain current stock levels Negotiate with suppliers Market research new supplies Work to KPI's Assist with NCR's Deal with invoices and queries Requirements Experienced buyer working with materials from manufacturing/engineering background Able to negotiate with suppliers Competent on the phone and with IT Experience with MRP/ERP systems Benefits: Full time permanent role in a great, team based environment Excellent progression with professional qualifications on offer Holiday Scheme Competitive Pension
