To find out more please visit Helix Main purpose of the role: Helix are looking for experienced Technical Consultant, to work alongside the Business Systems Improvement Lead as part of a Business Systems team to provide technical expertise to projects and support for business systems across all business functions (e.g.
design, development, controls, electronics, purchasing, materials planning, manufacturing and build).
Key responsibilities: To design, develop, implement, and maintain efficient and effective business processes and supporting business systems, to deliver on the future business strategy.
To identify the requirements of each department and propose solutions.
To contribute to the creation of Business Cases/ Justifications considering scope, objectives, schedule and cost/ benefit.
To liaise with other departments and get buy-in from all stakeholders to effectively implement and embed new processes and systems.
Coach the teams in using the new systems.
Review benefits of improvement projects and evaluate against requirements.
Required Education and Industry Experience: Experience of supporting Sage: SAGE 200 Finance SAGE Manufacturing addons and enhancement packs for Sage 200 Sicon Approvals (requisitions Sage Payroll Knowledge ERP, Finance and Materials Management, MRP, MPS, Warehouse, Approvals processes Understanding of change management and methodologies such as ITIL (Service Life Cycle), Process Improvement such as Lean, Six Sigma, SDLC such as V Cycle.
Strong IT skills (ideally including a level of programming and/or SQL skills).
Understanding of relational databases (e.g.
MS SQL, Oracle).
Understanding of Workflow/ Automation and Business Intelligence (e.g.
Power Automate, Power BI etc).
Project Management skills - Ability to plan and work to deadlines to meet objectives.
Desirable Education and Industry Experience: Additional knowledge of the following business systems would be useful: CRM, PLM, MES.
