Role Summary We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to lead our customer-focused Learner Support Services team.
As the operational lead, you'll manage a team that provides first-level support for all learning and development queries from colleagues across the Trust.
They will also play a key role in training administration, handling learning management system (LMS) queries, coordinating training events, and supporting funding applications for external learning.
Your team will be a vital part of the wider People Development and Education Service while embracing technology to make the customer experience smoother and more efficient.
This hybrid role offers flexibility, with the option to work from any of our Devon sites (Exeter, Barnstaple, or Bideford) and remotely from home.
However, some travel between Trust sites will be required, as your team work across all these locations.

More detail about the roleWe're looking for a dynamic, customer-focused operational team leader to manage our Learner Support Services team.
This team plays a key role in administering learning through the Trust's LMS and providing support for various training and education centres of excellence, including clinical skills, practice education, leadership/management development, and funding for learning applications.
Your team will also help ensure the smooth running of training programs by managing room bookings, coordinating with training suppliers, preparing materials, and tracking attendance.
Additionally, you'll support our comprehensive induction programme, ensuring all new starters receive a warm welcome.
This role is essential in helping us create reports and dashboards to share valuable data with the wider Trust, showcasing the impact of our learning and development activities.
It's an exciting time as we explore digital solutions to improve the learning experience for everyone at the Trust.
The post holder will play a key role in supporting changes as part of the People Digital Transformation project and other ongoing initiatives, so experience leading change is important.
You'll also be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining processes that ensure smooth operations in our busy, evolving environment.
This includes monitoring the timeliness, consistency and quality of training data used in the collation of monthly compliance reports and ensuring the accurate recording of external learning funding applications that feed into monthly budget reports, divisional spend statements and, where required, submissions to external bodies.
You'll also work closely with other teams to resolve any issues quickly and prevent them from happening again.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of LMS administration, be highly customer-focused, adaptable, and experienced in managing a team.
