Business Support Project Officer

Hales Group is seeking a Business Support Officer to join our client's team on a temporary basis for up to 5 months.

The role will be to support the Project Team to plan, inform, and deliver transformation projects as a result of service evolution, development, and to deliver the requirements of contracts.

Your Key Responsibilities as Business Support Officer will be: To identify and access data sources, collate information, and provide reports to support project bids. To optimise system potential for all IT systems used by the team to deliver digital enhancement. To prepare project plans, monitor delivery, identify exception issues, liaise with partners, and run project board meetings to help ensure the smooth running of projects. To support the senior team by providing management, financial, and performance information as required. To access and process data sources to provide clear concise reports, and production of process diagrams to define and streamline delivery. To produce and update project plans to facilitate project delivery. To set up, run, and record project meetings to facilitate communication and project delivery. To carry out customer satisfaction reviews of projects. To be the primary point of contact for internal and external staff. To deliver prompt and accurate financial support in raising orders and authorising payment of invoices. Monitor and prepare updates for the website and other communications channels. To be considered for the role of Business Support Officer you will have: Experience of identifying and implementing efficiencies to procedures and processes. Experience of producing reports and analysing the data from them to effect change. Knowledge of office systems, and ideally financial accounting systems. Ability to analyse and solve problems. Clear precise written and oral communication skills. Excellent level of IT skills. Excellent organisational skills and ability to organise data and information. The ability to assess problems, identify solutions, and to sensitively communicate options to colleagues and contractors. HOURS: Monday to Friday, 30 to 37 hours
LOCATION: Lowestoft
SALARY: £15.84 per hour
TERM: Temporary for up to 5 months
