New Full-Time Business Support Officer Role Your new company Due to the partnership between Hays and a local authority within the West Midlands, we are looking to recruit a Business Support Officer to join the Child Protection and Review Unit team.
Your new role As a Business Support Officer, you will be supporting the team by taking minutes during complex meetings which occur regularly.
You will be required to help with the preparation of meetings and post-meeting distribution of notes and materials.
As part of the child protection team, there are sensitive cases and information that you will be exposed to, which you will need to be comfortable with.
This role is a temporary full-time position working a minimum of 3 days a week when you will be in the office.
What you'll need to succeed You will need experience of working in a busy administrative environment where you can prioritise your workload.
In addition, you will need to demonstrate you have minute-taking experience and are comfortable minuting during large meetings.
It is also important that you can work as part of a larger team, and communicate effectively.
Furthermore, due to the nature of the role, you will need to ensure you can keep organised and manage working towards various deadlines.
In addition, this role will be an ASAP start, which before starting you will need to pass your reference and compliance checks.

This is a three-month contract but may be open to extension.
The rate of pay for this role is £ (PAYE), paid on a weekly basis.
