Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Long-Term Care team within Primary Care Directorate Hywel Dda University Health Board for a Business Support Manager.The successful candidate will provide robust administrative duties as well as, project and business support .
This will include reviewing, improvement of documentation processes, implementation of ideas for change, and ensuring business continuity of the Service.
As well as being responsible for leading and managing the Business Support Function of the Long-Term Care Team; including line management, supervision, and training & development of the business support team.Candidates must have experience of working in busy office environments, including communication on highly sensitive matters, and the use and development of spreadsheets and databases.

Main duties of the job Responsible for leading and managing the Business Support Function of the Long-Term Care Team; including the line management, supervision, and training & development of sub-team members.
Manage the Long-Term Care Team's generic email account and respond to / reroute email requests received.
Responsible for providing effective administrative, secretarial, project and business support to the Long-Term Care Team.
Responsible for all levels of enquiries regarding Continuing Healthcare and NHS Funded Nursing Care, as the first point of contact in West Wales.
The nature of this work could be complex, sensitive, and intense.
Provide a comprehensive and effective administrative, secretarial, project and business support service to the Health Board's Continuing Healthcare and NHS Funded Nursing Care processes, , typing letters, taking messages, updating electronic diaries, arranging meetings, providing advice regarding various Microsoft Office packages, documentation layout and resolving IT issues.
Support the Senior Management Team (and wider Long-Term Care Team) in the review, interpretation and implementation of prescribed policies and procedures, and the development and implementation of new policies and procedures specific to the Long-Term Care Team.
