This role involves providing administrative support for clinical and non clinical processes, audits and recalls.
As well as being the main contact for IT related support.

Main duties of the job The role is varied and includes duties that support all teams in the practice.As part of the team of Administrators you will support the processing of lab results, be responsible for the day-to-day processing of medical reports and lead the operation of Chronic Management recall system.
You will also be responsible for dealing with new registrations and summarising medical records.The role will also involve the support of IT services withing the practice along with helping to install new systems and processes.
This includes configuring new starters and providing an IT induction to new team members.
About us The Colliery practice is a large practice with 14400 patients over two sites.
We are part of Cannock Primary care Network.
We have a large integrated team of District Nurses, Health Visitors, Physio's and Counsellors.
Job description Job responsibilities Carry out daily processing of the lab results received into the practice workflow following a clinical protocol.Lead on the processing of all medical reports according to the policies and timescales for completion.To assist with the operation of the chronic disease recall system.To assist with clinical audits and recall systems.Ensure that IT upgrades are performed across the practice, supporting other teams when required.Provide support to all teams with IT related input.Maintain the practice asset register, including accurate record keeping of decommissioned equipment.Working with the management team to support the implementation of new procedures and review of existing procedures.Managing new patient records, summarising and coding.To assist management team with Health and Safety checks etc.To assist management team with all general administrative day to day tasks.
Person Specification Qualifications Essential Maths and English grade c or above.
Competent user of IT systems Qualities Essential Ability to relate well to others, patients and carers, staff, managers and other professionals Be flexible and able to adapt in allocation of work at short notice Able to work as part of a team Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment and able to multi-task.
