The Opportunity Salary: £35,235 to £37,938 per annumWorking Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per weekLocation: County Hall, Chichester and hybrid workingInterview date: w/c 17 February 2025As the Business Process Improvement Officer, working as part of a team, your role will contribute to the development and implementation of innovation and new "best practice" ways of working, including identifying opportunities for efficiency, digitisation, and continuous improvement across all aspects of Procurement policy, strategy, and operational practice.You will support the development and implementation of best practice policy and processes across procurement and contract management in line with UK legislation.
You will support assigned Procurement and Contract Management improvement and change initiatives (projects) to deliver high quality improvement outcomes within target timescales.
This will involve working both independently and collaboratively to undertake a range of design, development, and analytical activity to discover relevant information about processes and services, provide input to new design models, assess options and draft proposals, track progress, identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies in support of continuous improvement.To support your development in the role, you will be encouraged to undertake and complete the Higher Apprenticeship Level 4 - What are we looking for?

You will understand service redesign, transformation and change management, including analysis of the impacts of change and assessment of the financial and service benefits.
You will be aware of and utilise lean techniques in the review, design, development, and quality assurance of all developed materials.
You will be able to assimilate complex information and establish credibility with a diverse range of stakeholders across all levels.
Providing analytical input and support to assigned change initiatives, you will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outputs to a high standard and to planned timescales.
You will be able to quickly establish favourable networks and build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders enabling you to influence and persuade others to embed change in a complex and challenging regulatory environment.
