Location: North West & North East England, Yorkshire, East and West Midlands (north of M25)
Product: Hardware and software solutions for sleep diagnostics (£3k - £200k in value)
Who you'll be working for: A pioneer in the field of sleep diagnostics for the last 30 years, you will be joining a company that offers a comprehensive range of home and lab-based sleep diagnostics to hospitals and health providers. It is the exclusive distributor in the UK and ROI for the best sleep devices in the market, and it also sells its own products throughout the UK, EMEA, APAC and the Americas. It dedicates more than 10% of its revenue to research & development of its own products to improve the diagnosis, prognosis and quality of life of patients.
Its clinical customers sit at the heart of what it does. Its products are designed with their needs in mind and its people strive to innovate and adapt as their needs change. Supporting our technology is a team of dedicated customer and technical support personnel.
What you'll enjoy: Very friendly company, people in it are very personable. It's quite a laid-back company where staff are trusted to get on with their job autonomously. Good products which are British made and extremely reliable and a brand which is 30 years old. Small company, ideal for someone who wants to get away from a large impersonal corporate organisation. What you'll be doing: Working with the existing internal sales team and reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage sales and help the strategic launch of new products to existing contacts as well as targeting new prospects. There are approx. 100 NHS accounts on patch. You'll be doing a full 360 role from following up on leads, to pricing, quotes, as well as implementation. Your initial accounts will be larger public and private hospitals. Sleep diagnostics equipment is predominantly used and specified by sleep physiologists, and these "hands-on" clinical professionals in the outpatient (and sometimes CCG space) make up the core customer base. Other key contacts will include doctors, health companies, procurement, EBME. All the products are on the NHS framework. Here's what you need: With an existing track record in medical sales, you will ideally have experience of selling electronic medical devices into large hospitals and other healthcare environments. This experience will allow you to work autonomously as the role reports directly into the CEO. You will have a technical aptitude and have the ability to help troubleshoot and support with any technical issues which your customers might have. It would be ideal if you had experience specifically within the sleep or respiratory electronic medical devices field, other similar fields like ear & nose, cardio, dental, diabetes, or areas that focus on electronics for breathing or mouth care. Alternatively, those with plenty of medical sales experience who understand the purchasing landscape of the NHS will also be considered. It's a large patch so you'll need to be happy to travel and sometimes stay overnight. Bonus: 20% of basic paid annually in September
