What are we looking for and our expectations of you?
This is a great opportunity for you as our Business Manager to play a crucial role in providing both an exceptional customer service to our members and support to our General Manager with delivering all aspects of running our golf club.
This is a varied role, where no two days are the same, so we need someone who can adapt, react, take ownership of tasks and prioritise independently.
Our ideal candidate will be a highly organised and a planned self-starter, who has a strong background in delivery of customer service.
A key aspect of delivery for this role will be monthly accounting, so having a working knowledge of book-keeping practises will be essential.
We are a small business, so our successful candidate must be comfortable working autonomously, in a reactive environment.
You will need strong oral and written communication skills to undertake many administrative duties.
As our Business Manager, you will deliver other operational duties and services for our members and guests, such as club communications, social media postings, event and competition planning and membership administration.
You will report directly to our General Manager to prioritise, plan and deliver daily/weekly/monthly tasks and ensure smooth operations of our club.
It may be advantageous, but not essential, if you have a working knowledge of golf club software and accounting packages such as Xero, HowdidIdo and Club Systems VI.
