This role is key in driving process and operational improvements across Compass Group UK & Ireland.
Reporting into the Head of Process Development, the Business Improvement Lead will analyse current practices, identify opportunities for enhancement, and lead the implementation of initiatives that streamline operations, increase efficiency, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.
The Business Improvement Lead will be responsible for: Process Analysis: Conduct detailed reviews of existing business processes to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
Project Management: Lead improvement projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely execution.
Data-Driven Decisions: Use data to guide improvement initiatives and track their success.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with teams across the organisation, ensuring smooth transitions and buy-in for new processes.
Change Leadership: Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
Best Practices: Research and integrate industry best practices to enhance business operations.
Reporting & Metrics: Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to monitor progress and measure success.
The successful Business Improvement Lead will have: Extensive experience in process improvement within large, multi-site organisations.
Demonstrable success in managing large-scale transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and improve processes.
Excellent stakeholder management and team collaboration skills.
Experience managing change and ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
Desirable attributes include Certifications: Six Sigma, Lean, or equivalent qualifications.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with ERP systems and process modelling tools.
Innovation: Ability to offer creative solutions to complex process challenges.
Process Mining: Experience with process mining platforms to produce actionable insights.
