We are a global brand with a long-standing presence in the sportswear industry, seeking an experienced and pro-active Business Development Representative.
You will be at the forefront of our efforts to drive new business.
Based in our St Albans office, you will play a vital role in identifying and nurturing potential customers.
This role is remote with visits to office in St Albans once a week.
Key Responsibilities Actively seek new business.
Conduct thorough research to identify key prospects and plan outreach strategies.
Generate and qualify leads through various channels (calls, emails, chats) to ensure a continuous flow of potential customers.
Working with the marketing team to produce a compelling presentation, to then deliver.
Build lasting relationships with key decision-makers to drive future growth.
Research target accounts, generate leads and follow up on sales prospects.
Attend sales meetings, events and training sessions to stay updated on market trends.
Report weekly sales activity and pipeline updates to management.
Meet and exceed weekly/monthly metrics, such as meetings scheduled, and opportunities created.

The Person Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or a similar sales role.
Proven skills in outbound prospecting and lead generation.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency with CRM tools for effective lead management and tracking.
High energy, self-motivation and a drive to consistently meet and exceed targets.
Strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
An understanding of financial KPI's, gross margins and costings.
"Thinking out of the box" attitude to bring new customers.
Ability to make commercial decision based on company's KPI's and targets.
