Job Title: Business Development Officer Responsible For: Supporting the Business Development Manager in promoting learning and development opportunities including apprenticeships and adult skills to employers.
Role Purpose: To assist the Business Development Manager in establishing partnerships with businesses supporting the growth of the company s training portfolio.
This role focuses on helping to promote apprenticeships and adult skills courses as well as providing essential support for business development activities.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in identifying and engaging employers with apprenticeship and adult skills training opportunities.
Support the Business Development Manager in crossselling apprenticeships and adult skills courses to employers.
Conduct research and analysis on potential client accounts and industry trends to help the team develop effective strategies.
Help manage client relationships ensuring effective communication and responding to enquiries.
Assist in maintaining and updating the CRM system tracking client interactions contract success and learner engagement.
Help prepare reports and presentations to support client meetings and internal reviews.
Assist in organising and coordinating marketing activities to promote the company s services.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of training services to clients.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings managing communications and coordinating project activities.
Ensure adherence to company policies safeguarding protocols and equal opportunities standards.
Assist in achieving business targets by supporting daytoday business development functions.
Person Specification: Experience in business support or a similar administrative role (Desirable) Basic knowledge of apprenticeships adult skills funding and training services (Desirable) Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively (Essential) Good communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams (Essential) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Essential) Ability to support relationship management with senior stakeholders (Desirable) Other Requirements: Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
Flexibility to meet the demands of the role including occasional travel and working outside regular hours.
