They are now looking to grow their team by adding a new Business Development Manager , for their upper limb portfolio, to devise and implement sales strategy, with the support of the sales representatives and clinical specialists, and support in clinical cases and training where needed in their territory, South East England (South Thames, Surrey, Berkshire, Hampshire, West and East Sussex and Kent) region.
Key responsibilities: Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.
Responsible for developing sales strategy and driving sales on region, converting from competitors.
Nurturing relationships with key accounts, and providing specialist advice.
Identify areas for growth by identifying trends, and partnerships in ways of reaching existing markets.
Thinking and working strategically about the 'bigger picture' and improving the business.
Ensure the team are on board with strategy and implementing, training members of your team.
Supporting marketing activities, looking at promotional strategies and attending seminars, conferences and events where appropriate.
To be considered for the role, you must closely match the following job profile: Surgical orthopaedic medical sales experience.
Ideally experience in the upper limb (sales or clinically).
Proven track record of consistently achieving sales and targets.
Proven experience converting competitor accounts.
Strong communication / presentational skills.
Degree in science or business-related fields.
Full valid driving license.
Eligibility documentation to work in the UK.
