Key Responsibilities as a Business Development Manager: Client Acquisition: Engage with prospects to present Tuffnells' unique logistics solutions, focusing on their specific needs and demonstrating how our platform offers them control and convenience Relationship Building: Foster strong, long-term partnerships with customers, ensuring that they receive personalised service and have the tools they need to succeed.
Act as their trusted logistics advisor Sales Campaigns: Collaborate directly with the Commercial Director to support the development and execution of local sales campaigns, helping to tailor strategies for specific regions and target markets Onboarding & Customer Support: Lead the customer onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
Support new clients through initial setup, providing guidance on how to fully utilise our platform and services Customer Expansion: Develop opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services, ensuring clients fully utilise the range of services available through our platform Innovation & Problem Solving: Work closely with clients to identify pain points in their logistics processes and offer tailored solutions.
Proactively suggest improvements and new services based on customer feedback Performance Tracking & Reporting: Maintain an up-to-date pipeline using our sales CRMs, providing accurate profiles and insights.
