Our client, a leading provider of innovative cloud-based solutions, is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to spearhead their efforts in acquiring new logo clients within the SME and Enterprise market.
The Role This is a newly created position focused on selling a cutting-edge Accounts Payable Automation software solution that streamlines and enhances invoice and document processing for businesses.
The primary objective is to drive new business development and expand the company's footprint within the UK.
You will: Identify and target new logo clients and high-value opportunities in the SME and Enterprise space, with a specific focus on accounts managing high invoice volumes.
Develop and execute a strategic business development plan aimed at maximising software license acquisition and annual recurring revenue.
Research, consult, and scope client needs, providing tailored recommendations on automating and optimising their functions.
Deliver engaging and persuasive solutions presentations, product demonstrations, and pricing proposals, managing the entire sales process through to closure.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasting and activity updates to the Sales Director.
Represent the company at networking events and industry conferences to build relationships and drive lead generation.
About You We're looking for a high-performing software sales professional with experience selling solutions into the SME and Enterprise market.
Ideal candidates will have a background in SaaS, ERP, RPA, Document Management, or Accountancy Software solutions and a proven ability to consistently win new logo clients.
You should have: A consultative, solution-oriented approach with the ability to identify and articulate value propositions that address client challenges.
Experience creating and delivering successful business development strategies that drive results.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple levels of an organisation.
Strong commercial acumen with advanced negotiation and decision-making skills.
A proactive, self-motivated, and determined attitude to consistently exceed targets.
