MAIN PURPOSE Assist the Head of BD to maximise the occupancy across all the services.
Identifying new opportunities and working with the wider teams to meet market needs as they change and adapt accordingly.
Programme manage multiple and geographically dispersed projects, ensuring robust management of stakeholders and interdependencies in order to deliver agreed objectives.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Planning Assist the Head of BD to co-ordinate and implement the organisation's overarching business strategy, delivered primarily through a combination of maximising occupancy of existing services, accommodation re-provision, modernisation of current services and new developments always driven by market needs and commissioner demands.
Work with operational colleagues to develop and implement localised business plans Lead on feasibility studies, liaising with commissioners to identify opportunities for new areas of business development, whilst ensuring all new projects are market driven identifying both opportunities for growth in occupancy as well as potential risks Work with operational colleagues to review services and identify opportunities for remodelling Work with the Head of BD to manage the programme environment, ensuring robust project management for major capital and non-capital projects Monitor tender portals and produce compelling submissions Monitor occupancy levels and implement a blended tactical promotional plan that maximises the capacity of individual services Work with colleagues to review fee packages and to maximise statutory income Support the Brainkind's legal advisor to review contracts, ensuring that Brainkind's commercial aims are protected Have oversight for the implementation of 'Customer Relations Management' (CRM) system, but prior to implementation effective management of data, regarding all referrals, converted and lost identifying themes and trends to identify new potential areas of growth.
Maximising pathway development across the organisation when a person is preparing for discharge to move them to a lower level of support and wherever possible identifying possible placements within the organisation strengthening the pathway and maintaining occupancy Development To work under the Head of BD and in close collaboration with operational and support colleagues, ensuring a corporate and joint approach to the development of modern, commissioner-led products and services To assist Head of BD develop strategies and business plans for new business, clearly identifying budgetary requirements and projected return, ensuring all plans are aligned with the overarching programme Lead on negotiations for new developments, fee increases and remodelling of services Lead the team to ensure effective promotion of Brainkind and its individual divisions e.g.
organisation of and representation at, relevant events, seminars/conferences Develop and maintain systems enabling management information to produce KPI reports Actively engage, network and build partnering opportunities with internal and external stakeholders.
Communication Liaise effectively with key personnel and external organisations to ensure the smooth communications across all operational areas Build effective and productive partnerships with directors and managers across the organisation Undertake any other duties as may from time to time be specified by Brainkind, that is within the level and responsibility appropriate to the grade of post.
Undertake, any reasonable travelling requirements, in order to fulfil the tasks and responsibilities of the role, this will include some national travel.
About You • Degree level or equivalent (Health & Social Care / Business).
• Previous Line Management experience.
• Understanding of supported living and housing management.
• Able to create and advise on tendering for new business opportunities.
• Experience in working in health & social sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of funding bodies and commissioning frameworks.
