Business Development / Product manager Allied Insulators has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development / Product Manager.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the senior management team your primary focus will be on driving the continued growth of the business and assuring its long-term success.
You will be ambitious, hands on, and entrepreneurial with exceptional vision.
The key responsibilities of the role: Achieve agreed sales revenue and margins, prepare quotes and tenders as necessary Identify market opportunities, take full responsibility for driving sales and work with the current directors to develop a sound business growth strategy for future success Take complete P&L ownership and maintain a focus across operational functions of the business to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget Develop mutually beneficial relationships, internally and externally, and gain trust at all levels.
Prepare and deliver monthly reports to Directors Identify and arrange participation in marketing events such as exhibitions and technical forums.
As the main point of contact for customers you will be: A strong communicator at all levels, with both internal and external stakeholders Able to handle pressure when needed and have strong planning and organisational skills Have demonstrable experience in delivering customer satisfaction To be able to achieve the expectations of the business you will be: Financially and commercially astute with a track record of delivering and exceeding agreed targets Experienced in budget and report writing at a senior level A strong leader, with excellent people management skills and the ability to motivate others Pragmatic with an energetic, persuasive and engaging personality A resourceful solutions provider with an entrepreneurial flair It is preferred (but not essential) that applicants have experience in the electricity transmission, distribution or rail infrastructure industry.
This is a full time, permanent role.
Working Hours: Flexible 37 hrs per week.
