Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (8:00am 5:00pm) / Friday (8:00am 3:45pm).

Acting as a focal point for customers, the Business Development Manager plays a pivotal part in growing and developing sales for one of thee best know companies in their market.
Knowledge of general mechanical or electrical principles is highly desirable as well as an ability to build rapport, with a strong proactive attitude!
Role Description.Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve or ideally exceed sales targets.Support and foster relationships with customers, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to effectively promote and sell their products.Conduct product demonstrations and training to both dealers and potential customers, showcasing equipment features and benefits to an array of clientele.Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue leads from substantial and high-profile customers.Utilising engineering knowledge to effectively communicate the product value and suitability to customers.Maintain a deep understanding of product offerings and industry trends to effectively address customer enquiries and create tailored solutions.Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and after sales, to ensure seamless customer experiences, meeting and exceeding expectations.Providing valuable market insights for business growth and product development to the management team.
Skills and Qualifications.Proven, successful Business Development track record within a B2B sales environment.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relations.Strong presentation & negotiations skills, with the ability to convey technical information.Valid driving license with the willingness to travel across the UK.A practical working knowledge of Mechanical &/or Electrical Engineering.Living within a commutable distance of Stafford, Staffordshire.Experience of utilising a CRM system (desirable).Ambition, passion and motivated to do a great job.
