About the Company - We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Client Relationship Officer/ Business Development Manager to join our dynamic family law firm.
This key role involves managing new business enquiries (NBEs), maintaining relationships with existing clients, and ensuring that all potential clients receive the highest level of service from the moment they make contact.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the value of each enquiry, assigning first calls to solicitors, and supporting clients throughout their engagement with our firm.
About the Role Managing New Business Enquiries(NBEs):
Serve as the point of contact after the client has had the initial conversation with the solicitor OR after the client has been vetted by the team and have full authority to book initial call with solicitors.
Manage NBEs within the Proclaim case management system, ensuring all relevant details are captured and updated.
Follow up with whomever is responsible if the information is missing or if the client's case hasn't been progressed or followed up.
Check in with the new clients to ensure they are happy and to provide an update on their case progression.
Client Management and Support:
Provide empathetic and informative guidance to clients during their contact with the firm.
Offer reassurance and support, understanding the sensitive nature of family law matters.
Ensure clients are fully informed about the next steps in their legal journey.
Maintaining Client Relationships:
Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention.
Act as a liaison between clients and solicitors, ensuring clear communication and timely updates on case progress.
Request reviews upon case closure.
Ensure that client queries are addressed promptly.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions within the legal system – Contact Schedules Prepare reports on NBE conversions, client satisfaction, and other relevant metrics for management review during the weekly Business Development Meetings Qualifications & Experience :
Previous experience in a client-facing role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
Familiarity with family law practices and the sensitive nature of these matters is an advantage.
Administrative Experience Skills :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.o Proficient in the use of Proclaim or similar case management systems.
Ability to assess and prioritise enquiries effectively.
