Overview: Are you an ambitious Business Development Manager eager to make your mark in the commercial property sector? We're thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity to join our esteemed client, a leading provider of planned preventative and reactive maintenance services across London and the southeast of England. The Business Development Manager will hold a hybrid role, requiring one day of office presence per week.
Key Responsibilities: As our Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, identifying new business partners, securing lucrative contracts, and nurturing client relationships. Take charge of your sales targets, leveraging self-generated leads and inquiries to drive the entire sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation. Engage with key stakeholders including end-users, facilities managers, customer managing agents, and specifiers, showcasing our services and closing deals at operational and board levels. Build and expand a robust network of contacts within the marketplace, continuously seeking out new business opportunities. Collaborate closely with the Estimating Team and colleagues to ensure seamless processing of enquiries, conduct thorough site surveys, and prepare accurate asset schedules for pricing. Person Specification and Key Competencies: Proven track record as a Business Development Manager within the Hard Services sector is essential. Strong expertise in estimating and pricing jobs, coupled with a high level of technical and commercial acumen. Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable approach to achieving sales targets, with a readiness to engage at operational levels. Demonstrated ability to generate revenue through proactive sales prospecting and effective client development. Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Proficient in IT tools, particularly MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
