Business Development Manager

An exciting opportunity is available to join one of the UK's leading foodservice providers as Business Development Manager.
You will be part of a wider sales team covering Wiltshire, Hampshire, Somerset and Dorset.
Title: Business Development Manager Basic Salary: Circa £42,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus and benefits As the Business Development Manager your main responsibilities are: Work with existing clients by region creating opportunities to increase and develop profitable business growth Identify and develop new business opportunities in order to increase market share and size of the market within the region.
Manage the relationship with the customer and ensure all queries and issues are dealt with in order to retain the customer's long-term loyalty.
Requirements pf the Business Development Manager: Driven, positive, self-motivated, ambitious individual Strong organisational and account management skills Preferred experience in a field sales role Experience of food and/or product sales (either foodservice, retail, supply side) Excellent understanding of foodservice/hospitality/catering industry, external market and a broad commercial understanding Excellent customer knowledge and contacts in order to deliver new opportunities Skill and experience at building strong relationships with customers Exceptional selling and influencing skills Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills Current driving licence and ability to work across the region as required for customer base AMRT1_UKCT
