Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team at Lucion.
In this role, you will be instrumental in driving our business growth by identifying new market opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and delivering tailored solutions that meet their needs.
You will be a key player in expanding our market presence and ensuring Lucion remains at the forefront of the environmental services industry.
This is a national role and can be based out of any of our UK offices, but your nearest role might be Manchester or Runcorn.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and execute a business plan focused on key markets, ensuring targets are exceeded.
Manage the inbound lead generation funnel to maintain a robust pipeline, ensuring targets and KPIs are met.
Employ data-driven prospecting and opportunity qualification techniques (BANT, MEDDICC) to focus on high-propensity sectors and prioritize opportunities.
Ensure rigorous forecasting and pipeline management, keeping all opportunities current and accurate across systems.
Attend networking and industry events, generating and qualifying leads, and tracking ROI in the CRM pipeline.
Oversee the end-to-end sales process, from quotation preparation to order placement, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with Account/Client Success teams to cross-sell, generate referrals, and optimize new business opportunities, while mentoring colleagues and sharing best practices.
What We're Looking For Experience in selling service-based contracts within the environmental services sector.
Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
IT literate and familiar with CRM and forecast systems together with back-office systems and tools such as Microsoft 365.
Must be willing to travel throughout the UK as required.
