This position holds significant importance in ensuring Black Box's active participation in the opportunities through the channel, with a particular focus on the UK channel business specifically.
With substantial growth strategies mapped out for the next five years, Black Box views the channel as a fundamental driver of its expansion.
The role could be a hybrid one to ensure access to direct customer sales to support the growth across European region Key Responsibilities Identify, recruit and on board new channel/alliance partners to implement a robust sell to and sell through strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment with organisational growth goals.
Source and secure agreements with suitable VARs and SIs, fostering mutually beneficial relationships.
Manage all channel opportunities across the business, coordinating effectively with the sales team or owning customer opportunities if agreed within the named patch.
Collaborate with the Black Box sales team to allocate opportunities efficiently, maximising sales potential.
Forecast channel opportunities accurately, providing valuable insights to drive business decisions.
Spearhead channel events and marketing initiatives, strengthening our presence in the market.
Coordinate with sales operations team to ensure seamless invoicing and payment processes for channel partners.
Engage in face-to-face relationships with channel partners and attend key events.
Ensure data management by entering opportunities into Black Box's CRM (if owned directly).
Handle day-to-day requests and queries from both new and existing partners effectively.
Drive Black Box's channel sales program and shape the growth strategy for future success.
Generate valuable opportunities for personal ownership or the sales team through proactive channel engagement.

Knowledge of the data centre, networking and security landscape and channel partners in the UK.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning abilities.
