We are currently seeking a talented and driven Product Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team and elevate our product offerings and brand presence.
Role Overview:   In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our market reach by identifying new customers (retail) and markets (wholesale/convenience) and increasing the market penetration of our Travels, Haber, and Nifti brands.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop commercially viable proposals aligned with our brand and business values while building and maintaining key customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:   Account Management & Development   Market Research: Identify, evaluate, and provide feedback on new business opportunities, markets, and product lines.
Client Acquisition: Initiate contact with potential customers and deliver tailored proposals to a defined target list.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for revenue growth in alignment with departmental and organisational goals.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling customer proposals.
Onboarding: Project manage new customers during the initial trading period to ensure a seamless transition.
Key Account Management: Build and manage relationships with key accounts, driving growth and ensuring long-term success.
Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on progress, challenges, and market trends while achieving sales targets.
Product, Brand & Category Development   Collaborate with Product and Category Managers to ensure the new product development (NPD) pipeline aligns with customer requirements and market trends.
Skills & Experience Required:   Proven experience in Account Management, Business Development, or a similar role within the Retail sector.
Strong understanding of product development processes, brand strategy, and market analysis.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Creative thinker with a results-driven mindset.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
What's On Offer:   Salary: £38,000 per annum.
Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
Location: Head Office in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent, with hybrid working options available.
Benefits: Exclusive discounts with a variety of retailers through our Colleague Hub.
For this role you will be required to commute to our Stoke on Trent Head Office 1 - 2 days per week and travel to a national customer base.
