Business Development Manager

Location : Based remotely with field-based activities and regular visits to the Newcastle training centre.
A driving license and access to a car are essential for travelling to meet employers across Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Salary : £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, plus commission.
We are representing an established training provider, operating since 2011, who has recently expanded their government-funded adult education contracts across England.
We are seeking a driven sales/employer engagement professional who is passionate about creating job opportunities for learners and confident in new business development.
This role focuses on engaging with employers and recruitment agencies in the telecoms sector to forge partnerships and create job opportunities for learners completing adult education courses.
You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between training and employment, ensuring learners successfully transition into rewarding careers.
We're looking to speak to candidates with experience in: Sales/Engagement in Government-Funded Courses : Proven success in generating job opportunities or securing guaranteed interviews for learners Sales/Engagement in Telecoms : B2B experience, such as business development or recruitment, with a track record of engaging telecoms employers Recruitment Business Development : Strong background in new business development and selling recruitment services to clients Key Qualities: Target-driven, confident in cold outreach Skilled at building relationships with senior decision-makers (e.g., directors, HR, Learning & Development) Strong account management and relationship-building abilities Responsibilities: Identify, engage, and win partnerships with key decision-makers in telecoms Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, HR, Learning & Development teams, and recruitment agencies Facilitate job interviews and career opportunities for learners Regular travel across Newcastle Upon Tyne to meet employers face-to-face Why Apply?
