Business Development Manager

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth by identifying high-impact business opportunities and expanding the customer base through consultative selling and relationship management.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met, managing the full sales lifecycle, and implementing business development strategies to meet company objectives.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to identify, approach, and close new business opportunities for Azarc Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads and maintain relationships with key prospects Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities Foster and expand client relationships by understanding their business needs and presenting Azarc"s value proposition effectively Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product) to tailor solutions and enhance customer satisfaction Oversee contract negotiations and ensure alignment with Azarc"s business goals and client expectations Utilize Hubspot CRM software for managing leads, tracking progress, and documenting client communications Represent Azarc at networking events, conferences, and tradeshows to promote the brand and establish new connections Regularly report to management on business development activities, achievements, and sales forecasts Experience and Skills Required: Proven experience in a business development or similar strategic role, preferably in a B2B SaaS or freight forwarding environment Expertise in CRM software, ideally Hubspot, with a track record of effectively managing sales pipelines Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to C-level stakeholders Strong relationship-building and client management abilities Analytical mindset with experience in strategic planning and data-driven decision-making Proven negotiation and problem-solving skills Time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively High degree of independence, along with the ability to work collaboratively across departments Adaptability to dynamic and fast-paced environments Development: We would like this person to develop into the UK Sales manager within 12-18 months PI254991047
