Senior Business Development Manager/Director Our client are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager or Business Development Director to join our growing sales and business development team.
Applicants must have a background in B2B media, publishing, or events.
This hybrid role requires two days a week in the office, and due to the location, a vehicle is necessary.
The role involves building strong relationships with new and existing clients to generate revenue through print, digital, event, and conference product sales.
Applicants must demonstrate success in driving revenue for both print and digital products, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities: Proactively develop new business and expand the client base.
Conduct research to identify new client opportunities.
Build and maintain relationships with clients through cold calling, lead follow-up, and prospecting.
Travel in the UK and internationally to visit clients and attend industry events.
Create customized campaign proposals and sales pipelines for clients.
Issue performance reports and collaborate with internal teams to deliver on client campaigns.
Skills and Experience: 5+ years in business development or sales within publishing, media, sponsorship, or delegate sales.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Strong communication, time management, and networking skills.
Commercially aware with a professional attitude.
