About You You will be a highly motivated individual, with a consultative sales approach who can use your creativity to achieve goals.
You will be ambitious and passionate with the ability to influence at all levels within the sales cycle.
You will have both a hunter and farmer mindset and you may already be working within digital media, or you could be a returning to work parent who has previously worked within B2B markets.
The Role The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager will be to prospect, initiate and nurture business relationships with new and existing clients.
Working as part of a small yet highly effective sales team, the Business Development Manager will have an excellent understanding of B2B markets and a good knowledge of the digital media landscape.
What will you do?
Your goal will be to prospect, initiate and nurture business relationships to generate new and existing business opportunities globally Prepare and present product demonstrations.
Effective inbound and outbound sales calls and excellent email communication Successfully create commercial partnerships with global brands Attend trade shows (including annual global events) Work collaboratively with our wider commercial and in-house editorial and content teams Requirements Above all you will be able to demonstrate: A proven track record of success within B2B markets An effective consultative sales approach A good understanding of the digital media landscape Excellent communication skills A result driven, positive & enthusiastic attitude A collaborative approach Accountable and willing to take ownership Resilient Creative – we love new ideas, and no idea is a bad idea at Notting Hill Media Ability to establish and nurture relationships with potential clients Pro-actively manage and increase sales to existing clients Effective use of CRM Effective use of MS suite of products – Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint What's on Offer  A competitive salary of circa £50,000  On target bonus of £25,000  Remote working / home office  Quarterly meetings in London  Industry event attendance, including international Benefits A competitive salary which will grow as you do 23 days' holiday + public holidays – including Christmas Shopping Day - enjoy an additional day to shop and plan Christmas, and a day off for your birthday!
