About the Role: Are you an ambitious, results-driven professional with a passion for business development and strategic growth?
GES EMEA is looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive the continued commercial growth of Exhibitor Sales, especially within the Graphics division.
This is a pivotal role designed for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make a significant impact on the growth of our business, working across various sales channels and collaborating with multiple teams.
As the Business Development Manager, you will take charge of managing a team, achieving revenue targets, and driving the success of Exhibitor Graphics sales across our EMEA region.
You'll also focus on customer retention, supporting the growth of new business, and providing excellent customer support to both new and existing clients.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on business expansion and operational efficiency within GES.
What You'll Do: Revenue Generation & Sales Leadership: Lead the Exhibitor Sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets, with a particular focus on Graphics solutions for exhibitions and events.
Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing deals.Team Management: Oversee and guide the sales team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
Provide coaching, training, and support to enhance team effectiveness and results.New Business Development: Support the growth of new business through various sales channels, working closely with the Customer Care and Outbound Sales teams to handle incoming enquiries and identify new opportunities for growth.Customer Retention & Support: Develop and implement retention plans to foster long-term customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and year-over-year growth in repeat business.Internal Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal sales reports, manage forecasting, and update management systems to track progress, opportunities, and performance metrics.Market Insight & Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business development strategies and keep GES at the forefront of the Exhibitor Graphics market.
What We're Looking For: Experience: 3+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or a similar role with a focus on Exhibitor Sales, Graphics, or related industries.Sales Expertise: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, managing a sales team, and developing business strategies.Customer-Centric: Strong ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, with a deep understanding of customer retention strategies.Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in managing and motivating a sales team to deliver outstanding results.Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyse sales performance, manage forecasting, and use CRM tools to track and report on progress.Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and operations to drive business outcomes.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
