Position Title : Business Development Manager (Internal Sales)
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Salary: Base salary up to £40,000 per annum, plus uncapped commission

Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager (Internal Sales) to join a dynamic and expanding sales team. Initially office-based with a potential for some hybrid flexibility post-probation, the role is based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
The ideal candidate will be a target-driven, self-motivated individual looking to grow their career in sales. The role involves generating new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and working alongside senior Account Directors to close deals.
Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key vendors Drive business development within existing accounts and through new business prospects Conduct phone-based sales activities to promote next-generation IT networking and cybersecurity solutions Achieve a minimum of 70 call attempts daily to prospects Manage and generate new leads proactively through an online CRM system Compose follow-up emails to support marketing initiatives and campaigns Prepare proposals and quotations for clients Attend customer meetings as needed Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs Maintain an up-to-date and accurate sales forecast Continuously develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products and services Essential Skills and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an IT security or technology sales role Proven experience in a cold calling or outbound sales environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Organised and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and take initiative Capable of multitasking and managing multiple priorities simultaneously Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong attention to detail Genuine interest in technology, networks, and IT security
