As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager / Executive to join our sales team and play a pivotal role in driving our business forward.
Key Responsibilities: * Identify and create new business opportunities * Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects * Arrange and attend regular client meetings to foster profitable relationships * Develop strong relationships within the sales team * Present and negotiate at director level to close high-value deals * Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs * Take ownership of your professional development, continuously improving your skills and product knowledge Essential Experience: * Minimum 3 years of experience in a new business sales role * At least 3 years in a Business Development Manager role within the telecommunications sector * Currently employed in a sales role for at least 1 year * Strong career history in telecoms sales, with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets * Demonstrable knowledge of PBX, Cloud, Voice, Data, and Connectivity solutions * Skilled in networking, negotiating, and winning new business * Confident working autonomously and making independent decisions * Willingness to travel for meetings as required * Full UK driving license Preferred Experience: * Extensive experience in selling PBX/hosted systems * Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently * Quick to learn and absorb product knowledge * Strong time management skills, balancing proactive and reactive tasks effectively * Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both over the phone and in person * Determined and tenacious in achieving targets * Strong organisational skills with a good grasp of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce is desirable What We Offer: * Competitive basic salary between £30,000 and £40,000 * Uncapped commission - unlimited earning potential * Pension scheme * Company mobile, laptop, and tablet * Company vehicle or car allowance * Regular company social events and team days If you're a motivated, results-driven sales professional with a passion for telecoms, we want to hear from you.
