Business Development Manager - Financial

Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM) Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid with Client Visits)
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business opportunities across the UK market in line with business strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, a strong sales background, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships in a Technical field.
Lead Generation: Identify and prospect new business opportunities through networking, market research, and strategic outreach.
Managing new opportunities from lead, RFQ to contract award.
Client Acquisition: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Undertake market analysis and report.
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a business development strategy that aligns with the company's overall growth goals.
Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to align efforts and maximize new business opportunities.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and key performance metrics to senior management.
Provide order forecasting on long and short term pipeline performance.
Proven experience in business development, technical sales.
Familiarity with CRM systems and other business development tools.
UK-based, with flexibility for occasional travel for client visits.
Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days at home
