About this role We're looking for a lead-gen and sales hunter!  As our first BDM you will be working closely with our founder to build  our sales play book and processes while generating and closing new business opportunities.
You have 2+ years of B2B sales experience, and are well versed in demand generation — strategically identifying, prospecting, and qualifying prospective customers  You are highly result-driven, and know that to succeed in startup[s it takes grit and perseverance.
About Ooodles In the UK, 5 million Small and Medium Enterprises spend a whopping GBP 4 billion every year on IT hardware, recycling less than 20% of it.
Studies also show that companies lose up to 12% of payroll and productivity due to obsolete IT.
Ooodles is a Device-as-a-Service platform that enables  SMEs to equip their teams with the latest tech at the click of a button.
We aim to transform the way small and medium-size businesses access IT with a one-stop-shop platform, giving finance and IT teams the tools, visibility, and control they need to manage resources efficiently, optimise spending, and drive business growth.
Requirements Strategically identify, prospect, and qualify potential customers to spark interest in our technology and build a strong pipeline.
Present and pitch the Ooodles' products and services, ultimately becoming the best person in the company at explaining & pitching the product.
Work closely with our customer success team to ensure a smooth hand over ensuring our customer's experience remains 5* across the process.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategic account lists of target prospect, events, forums; provide feedback and help identify best practices for refining the company's lead-generation playbook.
Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects, supporting them throughout their journey with Ooodles.
Help to create our sales processes as you build them, experimenting with different messaging & outbound strategies.
  Experience and Skills 2+years of experience in sales - you have a track record of exceeding lead targets.
Experience in prospecting and/or closing deals of £10/50k ACV.
Strong communication skills and commercial acumen  - you know how to build rapport, influence people and drive change.
Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales and marketing organization.
Tech-savvy, with a knowledge of marketing technologies (CRM, marketing automation, web analytics).
Self-motivated, results-oriented, independent worker.
A down-to-earth, good-humored, kind person, like everyone else at Ooodles.
Location  London (office 1 day a week, 2 days remote and 2 days out meeting clients).
You must be resident and legally allowed to work in the UK.
