Business Development Manager – Sub-Contract Manufacturing The Client: A UK manufacturing firm with a strong engineering pedigree built up over many years.
They have invested heavily in recent years in infrastructure and R&D to ensure they have a platform for further growth.
To facilitate this, they are now looking for an additional BDM in Scotland.
The Role: It will be your role to generate and develop business with key OEMs and Tier 1 manufacturers within various vertical markets including Oil & Gas and General Engineering.
This role will take ownership for national business where you will play a key role in designing and implementing the sales strategy for the next five years for your chosen vertical markets.
There is significant inhouse design and engineering capacity so you will have plenty of scope to go after a wide variety of business.
Be successful, and you will be able to build a sales team around you.
The Person: It's likely that you are a senior sales person with significant sub-contract manufacturing experience.
The Rewards: A basic salary of £55,000, company car or allowance and various other ancillary benefits.
